Green Apple Lab senior Eco-Program Trainer

Position Overview
Green Apple Lab (GA L ) Eco-program Learning Center is looking for highly experienced individuals to instruct children aged 3-6 at Green Apple Lab (GA L ) Eco- program Learning Centers in Shanghai. Trainers will use an innovative and creative Green Apple Lab (GA L ) Eco- program, Interactive teaching method , animation and other materials, to provide a highly engaging and effective premium learning experience.

The Senior Eco-program Trainer reports to Program Manager in the Green Apple Lab Eco- program Learning Center.

General Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Become proficient in delivering Green Apple Lab (GAL) Eco-program interactive content and comprehensive classroom/home delivery of Green Apple Lab (GAL) Eco-program including the “on-line” parent portal.
• Provide training support and classroom delivery guidance to less experienced trainers including auditing classes of other trainers and substituting for the Program Manager during his or her leave.
• Use scripted printed materials, multimedia and a variety of audio-visual aids. There is emphasis on dialogue, story-telling, singing and role-playing, but more formal exercises, language games and literature are also used.
• Work with local Assistant Trainer to ensure classes are run efficiently and start and end as scheduled.
• Prepare lessons, print materials, technology and supplemental materials prior to the start of each class.
• Attend weekly meetings with the Program Manager to communicate all pertinent learner and classroom management issues.
• Participate in outside of classroom academic, marketing and Center social events as needed
• Collect audio & visual portfolio evidence of language learner work during lessons.
• Provide private lessons to young learner as required due to learner absences or for learners that are falling behind the class.
• Deliver both formal and informal assessments and progress reports throughout the program and keep close oversight on all learner records.
• Interact with both parents and young learners in a way that makes Eco-program learning fun, engaging and educational.
• With local Assistant Trainers, maintain strong communication with parents as to their children’s progress by means of the Teacher/Parent portal and ongoing communication during performances, phone calls and parent/teacher conferences  

Job Qualifications:  

• Candidates should have 4 or more years experience teaching Early Education to children
• Exceptional native English pronunciation
• Internationally recognized TEFL or TESOL certification
• Creativity and excitement to bring a unique personality to the Green Apple Lab (GAL) Eco-program classroom including talents such as music, art, and performing arts
• Bachelors degree required; advanced degrees preferred
