In this dynamic role, you will be providing English language phone support to Intralox customers in Australia, New Zealand (back up for Southeast Asia) and outlying islands. The position is based in the Shanghai Office and reports to the Customer Service Manager Asia Pacific who is based in Shanghai.
Job Responsibilities:
? Generating product quotes, orders and pro-forma’s
? Understanding and accurately applying policies and procedures specific to each country
? Documenting and leveraging important customer information across departments and accounts
? Proactively furthering the sales process through the use of outbound calls
? Technical support, problem-solving, trouble-shooting, issues resolution
? Coordination between relevant departments (credit, assembly, technical support) as necessary
? Coordinating mailing of samples and literature
? Occasional international travel is required.
Your Profile:
? Native level English language capability (comprehension and speaking) is required
? Native or near-native Mandarin or one other major Asian language (Japanese, Korean, etc.)
? 2+ years of work experience in a commercial/customer-interfacing role
? Strong interpersonal and communication skills
? Has worked, lived or studied overseas preferably in Australia, New Zealand, the U.K. or the U.S.
? Long-term commitment to live in Shanghai
? International experience, comfortable in Western environment/culture
? Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
? Ability to deal with customers & coworkers of different cultures
? Technical aptitude
? Analytical, detail oriented
? Service-minded, ability to independently interface with customers
? Pro-active and able to work independently
