Our college, registered with Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Education under the name of Alcanta College of Foreign Languages, specializes in providing education and training programs to the general public and corporations and has gained nationwide public recognition for its quality English and business programs. Here we have a group of responsible, professional and committed Chinese and western faculty. Students are mostly 18-26 adults and only in kids English and summer camp, we have students 8-16 years old. So far our college has been successfully operating for over 10 years and has now established itself as a leader in the local education and training market. Since 1997, Alcanta’s contribution to education and training has brought her numerous awards from the government, including Top Ten Foreign Languages Education Organizations in China, Designated Training Base for Guangdong Enterprises with Foreign Investment, Designated Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) Training School for Guangdong Middle School English Teachers, etc.
Besides, Alcanta is located in Guangzhou, Guangdong province (also called Canton), which is a metropolis lying in the centre of the Pearl River Delta with booming economy and diversified cultures. Now Guangzhou has won the bid to host the 2010 Asian Games, which will definitely inject much dynamism and prosperity to the city. Right now, we have THREE positions for oral English teaching. Our college will offer a total yearly income ranging from 100,000 up to 130,000RMB, covering monthly salary, performance bonus, overtime pay and round-trip allowance. As for recruitment of foreign teachers, our requirements are as follows:
BA at least, with at least one year's experience in teaching English both in China or other countries; Responsibility; 20-22 classes a week (One class lasts 45 minutes), teaching oral English, the one who is from Britain, USA, Canada, Australia or New Zeeland and who has been in China with a work visa/residence permit, would be preferable;
