Guangzhou Huamei International School,founded in 1993 by a group of returned overseas Chinese scholars from Canada, advocates the educational tenet of"Integrating eastern and western educational philosophies, nurturing Chinese modern elites”. We provide professional and tailor-made programs ranging from kindergarten to Grade12, with three divisions - the Kindergarten, the Elementary School (Grade 1 through 6), and the Middle School (Grade 7 through 12). Foreign Teacher Employment Information
1. Qualifications
Native English speaker from Canada, USA, UK and Australia.
At least bachelor degree, plus TESOL certificate, Good command of communication skill.
Passion for teaching and experiencing different cultures.
Teaching experience preferable.
Good health and friendly personality.
2. Salary: There is a salary grid for ESL teachers based on teachers’ educational background and work experience.
Salary would be minimum RMB 7500 per month depending on ability and experience for bachelor Degree holder and RMB 8000 per month for master Degree
holder.
3. Benefits
Contract Renew Allowance: RMB 500 per month per year except the summer and winter holidays
Work Visa and Residence Permit: The school will arrange work visa and residence permit for the teacher and afford the cost in China.
Medical Insurance: The school offers inpatient hospitalization insurance and accidental insurance.
Airfare: To reimburse 1,000 United States dollars for the teacher’s economy class round trip airplane ticket upon completion of the contract.
Housing Accommodation: The School will provide a furnished apartment with furniture and appliances.
Life allowance (water, electricity, gas): RMB350 for every month.
Teaching Bonus: Range from RMB 5000-10000 based on teaching evaluation results each year.
4. Teacher’s Workload
Workload is approximately 20-22 teaching periods .
Preparation work may include lesson planning, meetings and group discussions with the peers.
