Thirsty Work Productions (TWP) is looking for a Designer to help design and produce DRiNK magazine, a fast-growing B2B publication focusing on the Chinese drinks and hospitality industries.
Responsibilities include designing layout for DRiNK magazine articles (covering alcoholic spirits, cocktails, wine and beer, plus profiles of bars and clubs and interviews with bar industry professionals). There will also be opportunities for creating original artwork through illustration, plus, for the right candidate, producing photographic content.
The Design desk is also responsible for checking all in-coming advertising material and liaising with print partners to deliver final magazine materials for production.
The preferred candidate will have:
* Outstanding design skills and a wealth of design ideas
* Experience in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
* One to two years' magazine design experience (preferred), or related fields
* Conversation-level English
* An interest in bar culture, nightclubs, restaurants and a willingness to learn about drinks
TWP is a two-year-old company based in Shanghai offering consulting services to the bar industry as well as creating content for DRiNK Magazine, a bilingual hospitality industry B2B publication.
