We are located in Daliang, Shunde which is approximately a 40min car trip to the heart of Guangzhou. Daliang is a smallish yet affluent city and is a sub-district of Shunde, Foshan, Guangdong, China, situated in the east of Shunde. It's part of 'The Shunde City Zone' and the site of Shunde municipal government, as well as being a major player in the manufacture and export of almost anything you can imagine, hence it's affluence. It has a resident population of 310,000 with a total area of 80 square kilometres. Being slightly away from Guangzhou, Daliang is sheltered from the hustle and bustle of China's 3rd largest city, yet close enough to provide you with everything a major city has to offer. ROUGH EMPLOYMENT GUIDE
Our prospective employee will be required to commit to a minimum 1 year contract from September this year and to physically join us late August. We as most employers in this field are highly interested in people who have made China part of their life as I have. Don't let that scare you, we are flexible. Every candidate will be looked at individually on their merits. I'm not one for 100% concreted rules or expectations just open dialogue and a reasonable pinch of integrity works for us.
Work will be on Saturday and Sundays as well as nights from Tuesday to Friday and possibly some day work of approx. 25 hours teaching time for per week. As a guide at the moment I'm teaching around 24 hours for classes with about 6 hours on top of that for some private classes as an example of what to expect. We are a training centre that focuses on children education from the ages of 4-15 years old so this is the time they generally are free and away from their normal school hours. We do also teach business English as well as adult classes and plan on expanding that side of our business. Pay will be in the range of 7000-8000RMB per month, although depending on the candidate we are willing to be flexible on this
