6月9日，乌鲁木齐市第三十六小学举办“Happytime Happylife”为主题的快乐英语节活动，歌舞表演、猜谜语、口语对话交流，各种形式的英语学习方式让学生们乐此不疲。而该校外教托尼登台将活动推向高潮，他带领全校学生一起用英语互动。
该校副校长杨静说，举行首届英语节是为了丰富学生的学习生活，鼓励孩子开口说英语。而今后，该校将根据实际情况，每年都举办类似的英语节活动。
6月9日 在乌鲁木齐市第三十六小学举办的快乐英语节活动中，五年级2班的猜谜语主题引来其他年级和班级的学生参加。
