Located in the mid-south along the coastlines of Guangdong Province, Shenzhen is a coastal city of beautiful landscapes. The tourism resources and recreational equipments of Shenzhen are of distinctive features. For example, the “Splendid China Folk Culture Village” and “Window of World” which are the miniaturized scenic spots enjoying worldwide reputation, the “Happy Valley” fit for people of all ages which features diversified amusements, the popular science education base of military culture - the “Minsk World”, the largest ocean park of China – the “Sea World”, the first open-type wild animal park of China, the Fairy lake Botanical Garden which is dubbed as “Xanadu”, and a number of other touring and recreational places such as the fascinating Dameisha and Xiaomeisha bathing beaches. These scenic spots have attracted an increasing number of tourists at home and abroad. At present Shenzhen has built a couple of golf courses of international standards, in which a lot of domestic and international championships have been held. Shenzhen, the former small fishing village, has now become a pearl shining at the coast of South China Sea.
