I. Job vacancy: 5 English Teachers. All are supposed to work from September 1st, 2008

II. Requirements:

1. English native speakers from USA, UK, Canada and Australia with BA or TESOL/TEFL certificates.

2. Between 20 to 60 years old, healthy, with English teaching experience preferred

3. Employment of one academic year at least

III. The duties of an international teacher:

1. 16 periods (50 minutes per period) per week

2. Take part in the activities of teaching and research in the Department

IV. Treatment:

Direct payment:

1.For a foreign teacher to teach English Language,who is assigned no more than 16 teaching hours per week : RMB 3800--4800,with teaching experience preferred;

2.For a foreign teacher to teach specialty, who is assigned no more than 14 teaching hours: RMB4600-5000, with teaching experience preferred;

3.In addition to salary paid per month, school will provide RMB1100 as tour allowance for each semester.

 

Note:If the comment on your teaching from both students and teachers is satisfacoty, the host institute will increase your salary from the second semester.

 

1. School provides a 60-square-meter apartment equipped with all the necessary facilities.

2. The foreign teacher can choose to be reimbursed for medical expenses no more than RMB 1,000 per annum by providing the prescriptions and receipts of the institute clinic or formal municipal hospitals or be given insurance.

3. For the foreign teacher whose stay is one semester the host institute will reimburse a one-way international flight fare which is no more than RMB5,000, for those whose stay is one academic year the institute will reimburse a return international flight ticket of economic class which is no more than RNB10,000. The expenses will be reimbursed before the expiry date of the contract.

V. Rest and Holidays The teacher is entitled to the same holidays and festivals as Chinese teachers
