Canadian-American School(Zhaoqing),Guangdong, China is a private all-age boarding school of 1700 students, aged 3-19, divided into Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary departments.

It has mainly small class sizes and good resources. It even has an Olympic size pool and large gymnasium! The school is set into a mountain but only 10 minutes by taxi from the city center. There are 6 foreign teachers at CAS. Zhaoqing is situated in the central western part of Guangdong Province.

Zhaoqing is a scenic, idyllic city surrounded by lakes and mountains. It is an important traffic pivot for travelling from Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Macao to Guangxi, Yunnan Province, etc. It is 90 kilometers from its urban area to Guangzhou.The Seven Star Lakes and Dinghu Mountains are famous attractions very close to the city. Dinghu Mountain is among the first group of China's nature reserves and the first group of designated scientific research stations of the UN " Man and Natural Biosphere". Known as the "green gem on the Tropic of Cancer", the mountain boasts of peaks rising one higher than another, ancient towering trees, flying waterfalls, fresh air, various birds and colorful flowers. The Seven-star Scenic Area is composed of five small lakes, six hillocks, seven rocks and eight caves. Like the Big Dipper, the seven rocks on the bright lake surface show the picturesque landscape in Guilin and Hangzhou.
