BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO THE EMPLOYMENT OF FOREIGH TEACHERS
In 2006, the Baiyin Alley Xiwang Foreign Language School wishes to employ 8 experienced foreign language teachers, who should have at least 2 years experience. At present, our school has set up a "Foreign Language School English class" for 2000 students of Grades 1-6.
In 2007 ,we will set up the English classes for the Middle School students of Grade 1-3 .
The following are details of requirements and remuneration:
- Teachers should come from English-speaking countries such as New Zealand, Australia, England, USA, Canada, Ireland etc.
- The contract will be for a period of 40 weeks actual teaching time (Winter vacation and Chinese Spring festival are not included.) The teachers will begin to work at the beginning of March and September every year .Teachers are welcomed to sign a contract for two years.
- Working place: Baiyin City, Gansu province.(from capital city Lanzhou about
45minutes)
- Accommodation: Free apartment.
- Working time: Wednesday to Sunday. Monday and Tuesday are days off.
- Working load : There will be 18 working hours every week .
- Students: Primary school students from Grades 1-6 and middle school students from Grades 1-3 .
REMUNERATION:
(Including basic salary, payment for extra classes, traveling reward for each year, air tickets reward, medical insurance)

Basic salary varies according to the teacher's qualifications
a. Native English speaker who got the diploma certificate or the Bachelor's degree and wants to be the volunteer teaching in our school will be paid RMB1000 as the living fee .
b. Native English speaker who got the diploma certificate with the pertinent certificate such as ESOL,CELTA,TEFL,TESOL will be paid RMB3000 per month .The foreign teacher who is not the native English speaker with ESOL,CELTA,TEFL,TESOL certificate will be paid RMB2500 per month .If the foreign teacher who got the diploma certificate without the ESOL,CELTA,TEFL,TESOL will be paid RMB500 less than the certificate holders.
c. Native English speaker who has more than three years teaching experience and got the Bachelor’s degree, also with the pertinent certificate such as ESOL, CELTA, TEFL, TESOL will be paid RMB5000 per month .The foreign teacher who is not the native English speaker with ESOL, CELTA, TEFL, TESOL certificate will be paid RMB4500 per month.
d. Native English speaker who got the Master's degree with the pertinent certificate such as ESOL,CELTA,TEFL,TESOL will be paid RMB6500 per month .The foreign teacher who is not the native English speaker with ESOL,CELTA,TEFL,TESOL certificate will be paid RMB5500 per month .If the foreign teacher who got the Master's degree without the ESOL,CELTA,TEFL,TESOL will be paid RMB500 less than the certificate holders.
- Payment for extra classes: the employer will pay the employee an extra class fee of RMB60 when the employee completes the 18 hours per week.
- Reward for the excellent teacher with good achievement in teaching : After the teacher finish the 10 months contract completely , the school leader will check his/her teaching achievement , the bonus will be given by the different achievement . It will be 1000-2000 RMB .
- Air Ticket Allowance: the teacher who completes the 40 weeks contract will be paid 8,000 as his or her ticket allowance.
Summary basic salary: the salary will be paid every month. According to the different qualifications, you will receive a salary of
RMB3000, 4500, 5500, 6500 per month.
Insurance :The employer will buy the personal emergency accident insurance for the employees .

Vacation Allowance : In the summer vacation or the winter vacation , the foreign teacher need to take part in the training for the Chinese English teachers or students , which is arranged by employer . Otherwise , the employer will not pay that monthly salary for employee during the holiday .
