Established in 2002, Tsinghua Experimental School in Shenzhen is a beautiful campus located in the heart of the Tao Yuan Ju community, in the Bao An District of Shenzhen, a major city on the south east coast of China, near Hong Kong.
It is the only Elementary Education School established by Tsinghua University outside of the capital city of Beijing in China. Tsinghua accepts both residential and non-residential students providing education from primary to senior high school graduation. Now with a population of 7000 students and 700 teachers, Tsinghua is one of the largest privately-run schools in Shenzhen.
Our school is equipped with the latest information technology resources, a new International School library, and each year hosts nearly 20 foreign teachers with English as a first language. Teachers come from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Philippines, UK and USA. We also have 3 school leaders from Western countries. Various student interactions are encouraged in class such as group work, think-pair-share, role plays, project work as well as more traditional teaching methods to add variety to the classes and help create a fun and relaxed learning environment.
