Established in 2002, Tsinghua Experimental School in Shenzhen is a beautiful campus located in the heart of the Tao Yuan Ju community, in the Bao An District of Shenzhen, a major city on the south east coast of China, near Hong Kong. It is the only Elementary Education School established by Tsinghua University outside of the capital city of Beijing in China. Tsinghua accepts both residential and non-residential students providing education from primary to senior high school graduation. Now with a population of 7000 students and 700 teachers, Tsinghua is one of the largest privately-run schools in Shenzhen. Our school is equipped with the latest information technology resources, a new International School library, and each year hosts nearly 20 foreign teachers with English as a first language. Shenzhen Shenzhen is located in the southern portion of Guangdong Province, on the eastern shore of the Pearl River Delta. Neighbouring the Pearl River Delta and Hong Kong (located just south of Shenzhen), Shenzhen's location gives it a geographical advantage for economic development. In 1980, the first Special Economic Zone of China was built in Shenzhen. From then on, Shenzhen has become a beacon of well-planned urban development. It is only a 25 minute ride to the chic districts of Luo Hu and Fu Tian and to the bayside promenades of Nanshan and Shekou.
