Everyone has a share of responsibility” in Chinese is “Tian Xia Xing Wang, Pi Fu You Ze”. Cited by Liang Qichao in late Qing Dynasty, the wisdom described the desperate situation China (or “Tian Xia”, the world) was going through when moral integrity was endangered and it was time for everyone to take his share of responsibility. It then became an idiom to describe an individual’s sense of responsibility to the country or the society.
