Job duties include but are not limited to:
-Represents the company professionally, ethically and morally at all times. -Develops high value Ag customer accounts in APJ, builds key relationships within industry, and works with APJ team to drive sales of Illumina platforms and reagents to the Ag segment. -Develops and implements a full Business Plan for the APJ Ag market, including analysis of market segmentation, market sizing, and segment entry strategy recommendations. Provides manager with input for Global Ag Business Plan. -Works with Mktg partners to drive internal change to better meet needs of the APJ Ag Market, including products, pricing, and promotion -Owns APJ Ag Market forecast. Provides regular and accurate sales forecast updates to management. -Spends 50-70% time in the field developing customer relationships. -Provides customer and technical presentations each week. -Provides training to generalist salesforce in APJ regarding Ag market, specific needs and applications. -Develops and maintains Ag-focused sales powerpoint presentations and other sales tools -Participates in Ag-related genetic analysis sales within region and helps guide negotiations. Provides key technical sales support to local RAMs and RSMs -Works with other vendors to maximize and leverage sales opportunities. -Maintains an effective, professional working relationship with internal customers and product development groups. -Helps recommend, specify, and launch future Illumina products to APJ Ag market -Assists in the design of marketing and promotional materials for the APJ Ag genetic analysis business. -Help identify and recruit additional team members, as needed -Assists, as time permits, with other business development activities. Qualifications: -MS degree and/or PhD in Life Sciences. PhD strongly desired. -3+ years of direct hands-on work experience within the Ag industry preferred (eg Breeding Lab Manager, Genomics Head, Genetic Testing Scientist, etc) -Proven team player with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Skilled presenter and ability to put people at ease. -Well developed professional and strategic sales skills with proven ability to develop and grow key accounts through networking at all levels within the customer organization. -Highly motivated and successful individual who enjoys a challenging and dynamic work environment. -Strong desire to win business and establish long term customer relationships and loyalty. -2 to 4 years of experience in Life Science sales or a related area (Mktg, business development, or other position with commercial/revenue responsibility) -A driver, with excellent time management and organizational skills. -Detail and service oriented individual. -Strong technical background in both molecular biology/genomics and Ag applications is required -Strong knowledge of Ag Market, with established relationships with key Ag thought leaders -Strong knowledge of the sales process in all regions of APJ, with a keen understanding of cultural differences and insights for operating effectively within these cultures -Ability to build compelling business cases and drive objectives within the organization If you are interested in this job, please be free to contact us by teachcn@yahoo.com.cn |
