| Responsible for
1.Reviewing estimates for project authorization and establishing project control budget 2.Monitoring, controlling and reporting on authorised projects in terms of commitment, expenditure and forecast Responsibilities, & Accountabilities Cost Control 1.Assist in the co-ordination of the scope of work of the project, including checking on - going scope of work versus the initial estimate scope of work 2.Develop and maintain planned and actual cost and commitment schedules including “S” curves. Update these with approved changes to the project scope of work 3.Assist Project Managers with progress monitoring and in processing progress claims 4.Assist project trending program and change control 5.Assist procurement on enquiry budget and capital commitment 6.Complete on a regular scheduled basis project cost reporting including variations, cost schedules and monthly budgets 7.Assist Project Managers with the processes associated with project review functions (changes to scope of work, present costs, costs to go, and in the estimating of forecast costs to complete Safety 1.Demonstrate a strong personal commitment to safety. 2.Contribute to a “safety first” culture. 3.Follow all Hatch and client safe systems of work both at site and in the office 4.Actively behaves in a manner conducive with a safe culture. Teamwork 1.Ability to work in a multi-discipline environment as a team member. 2.Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 3.Ability to work with clients, contractors and project personnel to achieve project outcomes. 4.Be a team builder and regularly attend and contribute to Project Status Meetings and Team Communications Meetings. Qualifications 1.Five and more years of working experience in cost management area. 2.Possess a sound knowledge of the Mandarin and English languages both written and spoken. 3.Engineering diploma or degree. 4.A proficiency in software tools such as excel, Microsoft word, PowerPoint, etc would be an advantage. 5.Understand the full range of issues related to the cost control of large or mid size heavy industrial projects. Experience in engineering consulting in a heavy industrial environment would also be an advantage.
