| Job Description
This person will design and develop a network of branded entertainment venues and district (EVD’s). The ideal candidate will deliver on EVD designs that incorporate the best of our core businesses. You will also apply Chinese best practices including a powerful combination of high technical standards. The core job responsibilities include: Applying advanced architectural knowledge and skills to develop concepts and designs including determining the equipment, materials and structural building specifications as needed. Managing all stages of the EVD projects, from site selection to completion. Ensuring that all design aspects are technically sound and compatible. Producing and coordinating shop drawings and supervising the execution of building EVD designs. Reviewing and resolve interdisciplinary design and technical issues to ensure the most effective and efficient design are adopted. Developing solutions to complex design problems using initiative and own acquired knowledge. Partnering with local agencies or contractors to design alterations to existing buildings, or advise on the restoration & conservation of old properties. A minimum of 15 years of architecture experience working with large multinational organizations is required. In addition, you must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be bilingual in either Mandarin or Cantonese and English. Bachelor’s degree required in interior design or Construction. |
