| POSITION PURPOSE:
-Head Yard Equipment Maintenance service in Greater China Area -Develop the business expansion strategy for Yard Equipment Maintenance in co-operation with the General Manager -Execute the business expansion strategy for Yard Equipment Maintenance in responsible area -Ensure optimum Return on Assets in the Yard Equipment Maintenance Department -Lead the Yard Equipment Maintenance Department to be a high performing organisation GENERAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES: -Ensure the department is staffed with suitable, qualified and trained personnel -Build lasting relationships with customers -Acquire new customers -Introduce new services -Manage expenses and resources consumptions in the department -Productivity and efficiency -Utilisation of company assets -Carry out various projects and report accordingly as requested by the GM -Attend courses as laid out by training programme and do this with a positive mind for learning SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES: -Set-up Yard Equipment Maintenance in Shenzhen -Set-up Yard Equipment Maintenance in Greater Shanghai area (including Taicang) -Set-up daily job control, cost control and invoice handling processes -Expand Yard Equipment Maintenance in Hong Kong -Find competitive suppliers of critical spare parts -Make sure Brigantine is invited to tender on Yard Equipment Maintenance services by all terminal operations in Hong Kong and Mainland China. -Conduct regular briefings / meetings with staff SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION: -Hold a engineering degree and / or a degree in business administration or equivalent experience -Flair to understand technical topics -Demonstrate strong leader ship -Have the ability to build a team -Good interpersonal skills -Experienced PC user and MS Office software user -Have good command of both written and oral English and Chinese |
