| Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
·To design quarry phasing options and co-ordinate geological and mine related aspects of environmental impact assessment projects. ·To work as a team to improve efficiencies of mining processes such as equipment utilization, loading and hauling practices, grade control, drilling and blasting. ·Take part in registering permits with the proper authorities for the mining and prospecting applications ·Mine planning using software tools ·Mine Production ·Integrate multiple aspects of field and laboratory data ·Liaison with process engineers ·Performs other duties as assigned by management. Skills and Attributes Requirements: ·Basic knowledge of mine engineering principles, theories, concepts & techniques. ·Ability to work well in a team environment ·Problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills ·Strong written and verbal communication skills ·Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities ·Strong math and analytical skills are required ·Demonstrated self-starter who is self-motivated ·Strong personal computer skills, Microsoft Excel and Access preferred Education/Experience Requirements: ·BS or equivalent, Mine Engineering, or related field, MS or equivalent, preferred ·0-5 years mine engineering experience, if recent graduate, prior internship experience preferred ·Project management experience If you are interested in this job, please be free to contact us by china.corp.hr@imerys.com |
