Responsibilities:
Communication Plan Development: Receiving client brief, considering alternative solutions, formulating plan and proposing response to client Campaign Planning Identifying stories, developing key messages, selecting key media, scheduling key dates Project managing process Implementation Writing & translating PRs/articles/marketing communications, developing media lists, pitching stories to key media and following up to maximise coverage Managing press conferences, arranging and facilitating one-to-one interviews & press tours Working within agreed client budgets and internal cost budgets Reporting back to client with analysis of results achieved Client Interface Management Liaising on a day-to-day basis with clients, reacting to client needs and proactively identifying opportunities Building and strengthening the client relationship, developing the commercial account Media Networking Developing and maintaining close relations with key media editors and journalists Researching and monitoring media opportunities for client exposure Supplier Dealings Liaising with specialist suppliers, ensuring time/cost/quality requirements are achieved Staff Supervision Supervising day-to-day activities of Account Manager/Executive Mentoring, training & developing other staff as required Business Developments Contributing to new account acquisition activities Projects Undertaking special projects as required by the General Manager Requirements: Minimum 5 - 8 years experience in PR / Communications in China Extensive experience working in Industrial sector preferred (Client or Agency) Overseeing several account teams Handle Strategic Communications for clients High level planning / strategy / CSR High-level negotiation Quality control Trouble shooting / Problem solving Overall responsibility for accounts Handling clients independently is basic requirement Can learn other higher level requirements Fluent English (Spoken and Written) |
